An earlier chapter: this article describes the August 2026 website. The studio’s visual identity has since evolved. The original notes are preserved here.
This site had one design brief: make someone want to see what we build next. That ruled out most of the standard startup vocabulary, gradients, glassmorphism, decorative diagrams, because none of it says anything. It is filler, and filler reads as doubt.
Monochrome parent, coloured children
Rivany Labs itself is black, white and neutral. Typography and spacing do the work. Colour enters only when a product does: FoundFi brings its blue, Momry its dusk violet, Zansay its cold cyan. The parent frames; the products perform.
The engineering follows the same rule
Under the surface, the site is authored directly in code: no CMS, no admin panel, no database. A page’s content and its design live in the same file, so nothing can drift out of the visual system by being typed into a generic field.
